Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP)

Description:

• A permanent stay permit for foreign investors actively involved in an Indonesian company as shareholders, directors, or commissioners. Valid for 5 years and extendable, this KITAP allows investors to reside, manage their business, and travel in and out of Indonesia freely while supervising their company operations.

Stay Period: 

• 5 years

What you CAN do:

1. Live in Indonesia.
2. Travel to and from Indonesia with a valid re-entry permit.

What you CANNOT do:

1. Stay in Indonesia after your stay permit expires.
2. Carry out profit-making activities that are not in accordance with your stay permit.

Document Requirements:

From Applicant:

1. Passport valid for at least 3 years.
2. Recent color photo.
3. Residential address in Indonesia.
4. Personal bank statement from the last 3 months showing at least USD 2,000 (or equivalent).
5. Personal NPWP (Tax Identification Number).
6. Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) showing residence in Indonesia for the last 3 years.
7. Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) with a minimum validity of 3 months upon submission to Immigration.

From Company:

1. Company deed of establishment (Akta Pendirian).
2. Company decree from the Ministry of Law (SK AHU).
3. Company tax identification number (NPWP).
4. Company business identification number (NIB).
5. Company bank account statement for the last 3 months.
6. Proof of share ownership of at least IDR 15,000,000,000.00 (fifteen billion rupiah) or the equivalent stated in the ministry or agency data in the investment sector.
7. Director’s identity card (Passport/KTP).
8. Company letterhead and official company stamp.
