Description:

• Before a building CAN be constructed or occupied in Indonesia, two essential approvals must be obtained: the Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung (PBG / Building Approval) and the Sertifikat Laik Fungsi (SLF / Certificate of Building Worthiness).
  
  - Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung (PBG / Building Approval) serves as the official authorization to carry out construction activities—whether for a new building, renovation, or expansion. It ensures that the proposed construction complies with technical standards, safety regulations, and spatial planning requirements.
  
  - Sertifikat Laik Fungsi (SLF / Certificate of Building Worthiness), on the other hand, is issued after construction is completed. It certifies that the building has passed all required inspections, meets safety and functionality standards, and is therefore deemed suitable for occupancy and lawful use.
