Working Permit (IMTA)
Description:
- Izin Mempekerjakan Tenaga Asing (IMTA) is the official permit that allows foreign nationals to work legally in Indonesia. It is typically issued to individuals holding a KITAP or a Family KITAS (through marriage to an Indonesian citizen). The IMTA clearly specifies both the job position and the work location, meaning that the holder is only authorized to work in the role and place stated in the permit. Once granted, the IMTA allows the foreigner to legally perform employment activities in line with the permit's terms.
