  • A child from a lawful marriage in which one of the parents is an Indonesian Citizen, and the child is legally recognized as a stepchild under Indonesian law or by the Indonesian Mission.

What you can do:

  1. Travel to and from Indonesia with a valid re-entry permit.
  2. Tourism and visiting friends or family.
  3. Attend education (must be reported to Immigration through the multiple activity reporting process).

What you cannot do:

  1. Sell goods or services.
  2. Work for payment or wages in Indonesia.

Document Requirements:

  1. Passport valid for at least 6 months.
  2. Recent color photo.
  3. Residential address in Indonesia.
  4. Personal bank statement from the last 3 months showing at least USD 2,000 (or equivalent).
  5. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  6. Travel itinerary.
  7. Family card of Indonesian parent.
  8. Identity card (KTP) of Indonesian parent.
  9. Birth certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator (except if written in English).

Proof of parents’ legal marriage, such as:

  • a. Proof of reporting or registration at the Indonesian Mission or authorized government agency in Indonesia, along with a marriage certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator (except if written in English), if the marriage was conducted abroad, or
  • b. Marriage book or marriage certificate issued by the authorized government agency in Indonesia, if the marriage was conducted in Indonesia.
